A Note to Parents (and others)

The rocks and precipices that are a part of natural ambiance of Big Rock Campground are beautiful to behold but they represent an attraction to children who often want to experience them by climbing and exploring. In order to keep kids and adults safe we don't allow anyone, regardless of age or experience to climb on the rocks, cliffs, outcroppings or any of the features in the campground that pose a potential risk. Additionally, access to the spillway (river) from any campground land, developed or natural is prohibited.
We figure this all makes sense to adults but maybe not to adventurous children. Parents, please keep an eye on your kids while staying at Big Rock Campground. Thanks!
